UPDATE 2017: It is no longer legal for restaurants to allow dogs on their premises – even on patios. Restaurants in Solebury twp. still can have dogs on patios.
Looking to bring your dog on a visit to the Delaware? Unfortunately, your dining choices will be severely limited due to laws limiting pets in dining establishments. However, a number of restaurants have outdoor patios where dogs are permitted. Some even have water dishes for your hot dog!
Note that this list is subject to change due to local regulations and the desires of the restaurant owners. It’s strongly recommended that you call ahead to ensure that your pets will be welcome.
NONE permitted in the borough. See note above
Duck Soup Cafe – (Located in Solebury) A really cute patio out back where you can enjoy one of the best breakfasts or lunches around with your fuzzy friend. Park on the Giant side parking area so you don’t have to walk through the restaurant with your dog (which is illegal). For more information on Duck Soup, check out their featured Hidden Gem post.
