Ok, we couldn’t resist, so we went back to Teaberry’s for a light lunch and to try out their more traditional tea sandwiches and scones.
I’ll keep this short – it was fantastic!
Here’s some highlights:
Now that is a thing of beauty!
And the tea sandwiches? They’re worth travelling for. Sara creates interesting sandwich flavor combinations to keep things interesting. Every sandwich was delightfully delicious. I would certainly recommend trying them. Once you have, you’ll want to come back every week to try her latest. So yummy!
In addition to the crab cakes and sandwiches, we had a couple of the soups. One carrot and one curried chickpea. Both great like everything else we’ve eaten here.
We also, of course, had to try the scones with accouterments. Dense and flakey yet light, the way scones were meant to be. I’m just tickled by this place. Quirky. Fun. Delicious.
I have to admit, if Teaberry’s were closer to home, they’d be on our regular rotation. As it is, we’ve gone there more than any other restaurant in the last month!
